Family Medicine Physician – Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Join Aurora Health Care as a Virtual Primary Care Physician, a part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the nation.

• Become a part of an innovative integrated system dedicated to well-being and the communities we support.

• This position is a 1.0 FTE virtual primary care role, comprising 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours.

• Enjoy a four-day work week from 1pm to 11pm.

• Participate in a weekend rotation of 1:14 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

• Engage in call coverage of 1:14 (Monday at 11pm until the following Monday at 8am; minimal call volume expected).

• Receive clinical support through virtual medical assistants and nurse triage.

• The physician will provide care to virtual patients located in Wisconsin and Illinois.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold board certification.

• A minimum of 3 years of practice experience is required.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

• Although the position is remote, the physician must reside in one of the following states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY.
