Family Law & Civil Litigation Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote, on-demand assistance for Family Law and Civil Litigation projects.

• Oversee active case files and support attorneys with a variety of legal tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, with direct involvement in Family Law and/or Civil Litigation cases.

• Proven track record in managing active case files from their initiation to resolution.

• Proficient in drafting pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-related documents.

• Capable of assisting with all stages of discovery, including document review, organization, and production.

• Strong knowledge of court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation timelines.

• Experience in scheduling hearings, mediations, depositions, and other events related to cases.

• Exceptional client communication and case management abilities.

• Highly organized, with the capability to handle multiple matters and competing deadlines efficiently.

• Keen attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Self-motivated individual who can proactively advance cases and anticipate attorneys' needs.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
