Family Law Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance a comprehensive caseload of family law cases from initial intake to final resolution.

• Manage legal matters related to divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, spousal support, and protective orders.

• Transition and grow an existing transferable book of business within the firm’s framework.

• Continue to cultivate client relationships and referral networks throughout the Roanoke and Southwest Virginia regions.

• Advocate for clients in court, mediation sessions, and settlement discussions across Southwest Virginia.

• Deliver strategic legal guidance while fostering outstanding client relations.

• Work alongside firm leadership to promote ongoing growth and market penetration throughout Virginia.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active Virginia Bar license in good standing.

• At least five years of experience in family law.

• Proven capability to generate and sustain a transferable book of business.

• Strong experience in litigation and courtroom procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for developing and expanding a successful practice.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
