Family Law Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide on-site coverage for hearings, depositions, and various court-related proceedings as required.

• Examine family law case files and contribute to case strategy development.

• Facilitate the progression of active matters and ensure that cases stay on schedule.

• Perform legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and other documents related to family law.

• Assist with case management and offer litigation support.

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to enhance support for ongoing family law cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of West Virginia.

• Reside in North or Central West Virginia, ideally in or around the Morgantown area.

• Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in family law.

• Comfortable with providing in-person coverage for hearings and depositions.

• Possess strong skills in legal research, drafting, and analysis.

• Experience in case review, litigation strategy, and case management is essential.

• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.

• A self-starter who is able to work independently.
