Faculty – Full-Time School Psychology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Instruct courses in School Psychology, Psychology, or Behavioral Health Science, both online and on-site, adhering to the established curriculum.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate-level classes in School Psychology, Psychology, or Behavioral Health Science, fulfilling the necessary course load obligations.

• Implement effective pedagogical strategies during teaching.

• Evaluate students using both formative and summative assessment methods.

• Contribute to the School Psychology Program by developing and revising courses, updating the program student handbook, and enhancing practicum and internship experiences for students.

• Assist in the accreditation journey of the School Psychology Program from Candidacy status to full accreditation.

• Aid in the administrative tasks that are vital for maintaining the School Psychology accreditation.

• Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in School Psychology and the behavioral health sector.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a doctoral degree.

• Possess active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.

• Have three to five years of experience working as a School Psychologist.

• Demonstrate specialized knowledge in the School Psychology field.

• Show evidence of engagement in the professional community (e.g., membership in professional organizations, presentations, research, and/or publications).

• Must successfully pass a background check.

• Serve as a positive role model for students by upholding the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and the Mission of Grand Canyon University.

• Bonus: Preferred teaching experience at the college level.

• Previous supervisory or management experience.
