Facultative, Technical Reinsurance Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for assessing facultative recoverables for accuracy and promptness

• Preparation of intricate treaty accounts and facultative collections related to losses

• Conduct reconciliations

• Manage cash calls and liaise with various brokers and companies

• Supervise the settlement and collection of outstanding balances

• Generate necessary financial, regulatory, and management reports

• Engage in process development and initiatives for improvement

• Work with Management to ensure the precision of financial transactions

• Contribute to and actively participate in the creation of new reinsurance processes and systems

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in facultative reinsurance accounting, handling accounts rendering and settlements within the Property and Casualty insurance sectors

• Proficiency in Treaty Processing and Accounts Rendering

• Strong communication abilities

• Exceptional organizational skills are essential

• Solid analytical and computer skills

• Dynamics GP experience is highly preferred.
