This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will manage all financial transactions, ensuring adherence to legal standards while preparing precise financial reports and analyses that assist management in crucial decision-making.
• Working closely with your Finance team colleagues and external advisors, you will ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including international ones, thereby playing a pivotal role in Doonails’ financial health and success.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both management and external stakeholders.
• Engage in group accounting, including intercompany transactions, in close collaboration with the team.
• Enhance internal accounting processes and reporting tools, focusing on automation and the implementation of AI.
• Act as the primary contact for our (international) tax advisors.
• Liaise with tax authorities to ensure compliance with all international tax laws.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
• Experience: A minimum of 2–4 years of professional experience in accounting or financial management.
• Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Expertise: Strong understanding of international accounting standards and tax legislation.
• International environment: Experience collaborating with tax advisors and authorities, preferably within an international setting.
• Way of working: Excellent analytical skills, a methodical and precise approach, along with a solution-oriented perspective.
• Drive: A proactive mindset, the ability to work autonomously, and a hands-on attitude toward achieving results.
• Communication: Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
