This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Serve as FenX’s on-site technical leader and representative for industrialization at customer factories, ensuring effective commissioning, ramp-up, and performance delivery.
• Facilitate hands-on problem-solving, coordinate stakeholders, and design or enhance mechanical solutions for industrial and prototype equipment.
• Act as the primary liaison between the customer site, suppliers, and FenX teams, including those in Switzerland.
• Provide hands-on technical support at the customer factory; troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and process issues during commissioning and ramp-up.
• Drive the implementation of practical technical solutions to achieve agreed factory performance and reliability targets.
• Design, adapt, and enhance hardware solutions (for both prototype and industrial scale); support rapid iterations and testing.
• Collaborate closely with machinery suppliers on upgrades, extensions, and automation initiatives.
• Ensure alignment of on-site activities with internal engineering teams through regular interactions and travel to Switzerland.
• Maintain comprehensive and structured reporting on technical issues, root cause analyses, corrective actions, implementation progress, and results.
• Document learnings and standardize solutions for implementation in future customer factories.
• Background in Mechanical Engineering (industrial equipment, machinery design).
• Knowledge of processes and materials is an advantage.
• Willing to engage in hands-on work; possesses a pragmatic, on-site, solution-oriented approach.
• Experience in industrial settings, factory commissioning, or scale-up projects is highly beneficial.
• Capable of independently designing, procuring, and implementing mechanical solutions from concept to industrial deployment.
• Proficient in coordinating external suppliers and industrial service providers from specification through to implementation.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Willingness to be based predominantly at the customer site with regular travel to Switzerland.
• Comfortable collaborating with operators, engineers, and suppliers.
