This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide leadership and oversight for the facilities department at a designated location, set of buildings, or campus setting.
• Ensure that the daily operations of the facility(ies) or campus, including custodial services, life-safety protocols, engineering, site services, and general maintenance, are executed in alignment with C&W policies and client directives.
• Manage all contracts to guarantee they are regularly reviewed and bid out when necessary; ensure that invoices correspond with contract pricing.
• Supervise all maintenance initiatives concerning the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties.
• Respond promptly and positively to inquiries from building tenants and occupants.
• Prepare, review, and provide initial approval for all budgets, financial reports (monthly and quarterly), contracts, expenditures, and purchase orders related to the facility(ies) or complex as needed.
• Recruit, train, and inspire facility personnel. Foster positive staff relations and conduct or approve performance evaluations for team members.
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, or Business Administration is required.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial high-rise, campus environments, and/or property portfolio management is required.
• Preferred experience in leasing, construction, engineering, and all aspects of property operations and building management.
• Experience in critical system environments is desired.
• Preferred background in developing and implementing programs to eliminate cost inefficiencies.
• CMMS/Work Order Management experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and blueprints.
• Proficient in understanding management agreements and contract language.
• Excellent computer and systems knowledge, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong discipline in financial management, including financial tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of Financial Systems (Yardi is a plus).
• Skilled in the maintenance and monitoring of Building Management Systems.
