This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
β’ Provide comprehensive support for all facets of program and project management, which includes planning, developing, organizing, coordinating, and executing ATO organizational activities.
β’ Ensure the integration and documentation of FAA operational policies, processes, and program components.
β’ Conduct data-driven evaluations, exploring alternative actions for delayed interdependent projects and identifying opportunities for new technology integrations.
β’ Offer technical assistance in areas such as strategic planning, research and development, operations research, systems engineering, and the development of briefings.
β’ Prepare and create documents and presentations.
β’ Assist with decision-making and status reviews, provide briefing support, coordinate meeting scheduling, and prepare necessary materials.
β’ Create and monitor intermediate team schedules, ensuring alignment with the program's integrated master schedule.
β’ Develop and uphold schedules while offering guidance for schedule creation and management.
β’ Provide technical input for Requests for Information, Market Analysis, and review FAA information requests.
β’ Support business case analyses, including OMB Exhibit-300 documentation.
β’ Aid in formulating strategies for management development, organizational performance, and change management.
β’ Assist the FAA in organizing, establishing procedures, and managing processes for overseeing Capital Investment Plan project schedules while analyzing schedule or technical-performance uncertainties.
β’ Support assessments of cost and schedule risks.
β’ Potentially offer direct support for Business Process Re-engineering, including As-Is and To-Be analyses, along with recommendations for process and procedural enhancements.
β’ A Bachelor's degree and 20 years of proven experience in managing diverse technical and administrative projects, including directing technical staff, team members, and contractors.
β’ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory; this certification must be obtained within 6 months of award or, for new hires, from the onboarding process.
β’ FAA AMS expertise is preferred and considered an advantage.
β’ Proficiency in documentation, presentation, and project management tools is required.
β’ In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 10 years of direct and relevant experience in the management/supervision of the design, development, testing, or acquisition of Air Traffic Control/Management (ATC/M) Systems may be acceptable.
β’ Must be a US Citizen.
β’ Ability to obtain and maintain FAA public trust and FAA resume approval is required.
β’ Opportunity for remote work.
