Eye Care Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Exhibit optical expertise and experience, capable of assisting customers with any vision requirement from eyewear (fashion) to eye care (clinical) online.

• Propel sales by establishing trust and consultative selling, directing intentional traffic.

• Suggest suitable eyewear choices to customers online via video conference/chat by evaluating their lifestyle, budget constraints, and facial features, fostering confidence in their selections.

• Resolve customer service issues with internal support teams when necessary.

• Follow up with customers to ensure final resolution and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Discuss Stanton Optical and eyewear fashion trends with expertise.

• Assist customers through an online vision test for prescription renewal and smoothly transition them to eyewear purchases.

• Provide insights and suggestions to continually enhance the omni experience for both customers and associates.

• Support testing, training, and communication of new software features and omni experiences.

• Engage in and pursue new business opportunities.

• Assist with new omni-initiatives as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's Degree is required.

• Prior optical retail experience is advantageous.

• Possession of a valid ABO/NCLE Certification is preferred.

• Enthusiastic about customer service and enjoys interacting with people.

• Familiar with ecommerce, enjoys online shopping, and navigating digital and social platforms.

• Positive, friendly, and outgoing, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Possesses a problem-solving mindset, resourceful, and focused on customer resolution.

• Confident and comfortable managing difficult conversations and capable of escalating and/or following up appropriately.
