This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as an External Insurance Wholesaler for the Quebec territory
• Manage relationships proactively with key advisors and intermediaries
• Assist in resolving issues involving intermediaries and individuals in the area
• Identify potential opportunities and activities to drive profitable business growth
• Create and implement regular business development plans
• Conduct sales meetings and seminars
• Develop and execute strategies that provide consultants with marketing support and innovative sales ideas
• Maintain agreed levels of face-to-face contact with regional advisors
• Log daily activities utilizing the current contact management system
• Represent and advocate for Manulife within the local financial community
• Build strong business relationships with advisors and industry associations
• Carry out front-line business risk management by adhering to compliance and company policies with advisors
• Oversee sales-related activities
• Prior sales experience in the industry
• University Degree or equivalent education in the industry
• Knowledge and expertise in personal and corporate taxation as well as financial planning
• Attained or currently pursuing relevant professional designations (CLU, CFP, CH.F.C.)
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Fully bilingual in French and English
• Understanding of regulatory issues affecting the sale of life insurance
• Extensive knowledge of Manulife's individual insurance products
• Strong grasp of marketing concepts and product applications
• Comprehensive knowledge of competitive positioning
• Skills in facilitation and presentation
• Capability to develop, organize, and present proposals, business cases, and estate analyses
• Strong influencing and negotiation abilities
