This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of your territory: Oversee and expand sales within your designated region and segment, functioning as a business owner.
• Customer-focused approach: Foster trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
• Financial oversight: Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable to guarantee prompt invoice payments.
• Accurate forecasting: Provide precise, data-driven sales forecasts and maintain visibility of the sales pipeline.
• Bold prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with agility and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with segment managers, marketing, and operations to deliver customized solutions.

• Develop and implement account plans for all customers.
• Generate new business while managing existing accounts.
• Maintain a healthy order pipeline and ensure visibility.
• Oversee accounts receivables, ensuring timely payments and stock programs (consignment).
• Manage and support existing business to consistently increase market share.
• Travel within the assigned region, approximately 35% to 50% of the time.
• Identify and leverage new opportunities within the region.
• Operate the regional business with an entrepreneurial mindset to enhance revenue and profitability.
• Set and exceed annual sales targets for your territory.
• Prepare monthly forecasts for all accounts.
• Achieve all segment standard gross margin expectations.
• Negotiate pricing with customers in accordance with the pricing strategy established by Segment Management.
• Report on competitor activities, territory forecasts, and pertinent regional news.
• Coordinate exceptional customer service with the dedicated Customer Service Team.
• Address customer complaints in collaboration with manufacturing and quality control departments.
• Propose new product innovations to effectively grow your business.
• Implement new solutions with customers.
• Ensure Bekaert’s long-term success through strategic partnerships and agreements.
• BA/BS degree (preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing)
• At least 5 years of sales experience
• Willingness and capability to travel 35%-50% throughout the designated territory
• Experience in the relevant market is preferred
• Familiarity with steel ropes is advantageous
• Strong customer service orientation
• Proficient in market analysis
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Competent in project management
• Strong decision-making and pricing abilities
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in presentation and data processing
• Strong administrative skills (Forecasting, Call Reports, Itinerary)
