This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Establish and nurture trusted, long-lasting relationships with partner organizations, medical faculties, and other essential stakeholders.
• Act as the primary liaison for external partners, promoting collaboration and transparent communication.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to comprehend partner priorities, challenges, and prospective opportunities.
• Represent CaRMS at external meetings, conferences, committees, and working groups.
• Enhance relationships through consistent engagement and proactive communication.
• Collect feedback from partners via discussions, meetings, and sector engagement.
• Identify recurring themes, emerging issues, and opportunities within the medical education field.
• Convert stakeholder insights into clear recommendations for internal teams.
• Create briefing materials and reports that aid in strategic planning and organizational decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Delivery, and Leadership to ensure partner perspectives are well understood and integrated into planning and decision-making.
• Assist product teams by offering contextual insights, validation, and partner impact analysis—without making product decisions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by incorporating stakeholder and market perspectives into cross-functional discussions.
• Identify prospects for new partnerships or enhancements that align with product direction and organizational strategy.
• Monitor trends in Canadian medical education and residency matching.
• Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding partnership strategies, ecosystem positioning, and sector dynamics.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, economics, public administration, communications, or a related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in external relations, stakeholder engagement, partnership management, membership engagement, account management, client relationship management, or a similar area.
• Experience in a not-for-profit, association, healthcare, post-secondary, government, or other complex stakeholder-driven environments.
• Background in medical education, ideally within a faculty of medicine, medical school, residency program, or a related context of the CaRMS match process and medical education landscape.
• Experience in facilitating discussions, gathering stakeholder insights, and transforming feedback into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Asana, etc.).
• Bilingual (English/French).
