This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Construct, verify, and validate predictions regarding business impact based on outputs from the AI Engine.
• Comprehend, develop, and assist in analytics related to business impact predictions within Explainable AI Engines.
• Create, enhance, verify, and validate segments of the data processing pipeline.
• Facilitate the scalable deployment of AI technologies.
• Integrate Explainable AI with LLM tools to provide an Agentic AI experience.
• Collaborate with the cloud software team and engage with customers as needed.
• Document Explainable AI functionalities for customer users and internal software developers.
• Develop Operations Research features tailored for AI models.
• Automate data management processes to enhance scalability.
• Conduct aerospace-grade verification and validation for essential functions using simulations.
• Create interfaces for Explainable AI engines that interact with data, human users, and Agentic AI.
• Proven experience in building mission-critical analytical applications within a production setting.
• Proficient hands-on skills in Operations Research, Bayesian statistics, Monte Carlo analysis, mathematical optimization, or decision and control methodologies.
• Familiarity with MATLAB.
• Experience in model-based development and simulation-based verification.
• Strong background in writing technical documentation.
• Experience collaborating with a software development team.
• A graduate degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Capability to work with Controlled Unclassified Information for the Department of Defense.
• Background checks and drug screenings may be necessary.
• Preferred: experience in supply chain and/or aerospace sustainment.
• Preferred: familiarity with Java and GitHub Actions.
• Preferred: experience in developing SaaS applications.
• Preferred: knowledge of GenAI and LLM augmentation (RAG).
• Preferred: possession of a PhD.
