Experienced Medical Writer – Publications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and present high-quality scientific content for a rapidly expanding global publications account.

• Offer clients scientific expertise for medical communication initiatives, concentrating on abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of client products and the broader therapeutic landscape.

• Ensure high standards and consistency across various deliverables.

• Develop and nurture positive, long-term relationships with client teams and medical professionals.

• Foster collaborative partnerships with internal teams.

• Contribute to account expansion through proactive idea generation and the identification of strategic opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in the USA and possess the legal right to work there.

• Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, or Texas.

• Strong academic background in life sciences is required.

• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a medical writer in a healthcare communications agency supporting publications.

• Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex scientific concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging content.

• Strong scientific writing capabilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate confidently and engage effectively in verbal interactions.

• Passion for teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.

• Capability to remain composed under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet established deadlines.

• Confidence to make decisions and propel projects forward.

• Submission of a résumé and cover letter is mandatory.
