Experienced MCE Wind Technician – All Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with lifting operations for equipment at heights exceeding 250’.

• May need to supervise lifting tasks after verifying skills for large components and the ability to create, review, modify, and update lifting plans.

• Perform safe and efficient repairs on all Wind Turbine electrical systems.

• Work under properly executed Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) conditions and potentially serve as an Authorized Person.

• Engage in pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Risk Assessments (RAs), and daily safety discussions.

• Communicate with vendors and customers in a professional manner.

• Accurately document all work in various electronic formats and provide feedback to the Safety and Quality department for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of direct product experience on one or more platforms.

• Specific experience with turbines is mandatory.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics from different Wind Turbine manufacturers.

• Experience with Main Component Exchange (MCE) is required, along with additional knowledge of lifting operations.

• Possess specific turbine manufacturer certifications.

• In-depth knowledge and skills in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment.

• Ability to identify potential issues and significant faults.
