This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Acceptance of orders, data entry, planning, and scheduling of intermodal rail shipments.

• Coordination with Knichel Logistics rail and drayage partners to ensure the right capacity and service levels to satisfy our customers' requirements.

• Ongoing monitoring of intermodal shipments to guarantee timely pick-up and delivery, while proactively identifying and addressing any shipment or account issues.

• Promptly and effectively resolve escalated customer concerns, ensuring smooth communication among all stakeholders.

• Work in collaboration with sales, operations, and procurement teams to improve service offerings and align with customer expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on intermodal customer service and operations.

• Demonstrated capability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently across diverse customers and shipments.

• Excellent communication skills combined with a sense of urgency and empathy.

• Comfortable in engaging and establishing relationships with various stakeholders, including shippers, carriers, rail companies, and internal team members.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
