This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct analysis of the title chain and oversee the preparation of Title Reports.
β’ Ensure that each title search is complete and that documents are attached in the correct order.
β’ Confirm that all relevant parties involved in the search have been accurately researched and documented.
β’ Review a range of legal documents, including deeds, deeds of trust, mortgages, liens, judgments, settlement agreements, probate proceedings, easements, right-of-ways, and plats/maps.
β’ Validate ownership, encumbrances, and legal descriptions relating to properties.
β’ Guarantee that all legal documents and court proceedings are summarized precisely and effectively.
β’ Analyze restrictions and adverse items, ensuring appropriate annotations that clarify their impact and potential obstacles on property sales or usage.
β’ Manage all facets of the title search using online county information, title plant resources, and local abstractor work.
β’ You will operate in various states and counties each day; for instance, one day may involve working in a title plant in California, while the next could require access to a county recorder website in Kentucky.
β’ Follow up on all orders requiring corrections and conduct additional reviews before finalizing orders.
β’ Engage in searching commercial titles five days a week for eight hours each day.
β’ You must possess the capability to accurately plot legal descriptions for completeness.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial title searches.
β’ Familiarity with the terminology and documents associated with title searches, title chains, and property ownership.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail.
β’ Ability to work independently while adhering to established quality standards.
β’ Capacity to multitask and review multiple orders concurrently.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, and other Office applications.
β’ Knowledge of and experience with platting software, such as NetDeedPlotter and Metes & Bounds, is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively and function as part of a team.
β’ Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
