This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis of the title chain and oversee the preparation of Title Reports.

• Ensure that each title search is complete and that documents are attached in the correct order.

• Confirm that all relevant parties involved in the search have been accurately researched and documented.

• Review a range of legal documents, including deeds, deeds of trust, mortgages, liens, judgments, settlement agreements, probate proceedings, easements, right-of-ways, and plats/maps.

• Validate ownership, encumbrances, and legal descriptions relating to properties.

• Guarantee that all legal documents and court proceedings are summarized precisely and effectively.

• Analyze restrictions and adverse items, ensuring appropriate annotations that clarify their impact and potential obstacles on property sales or usage.

• Manage all facets of the title search using online county information, title plant resources, and local abstractor work.

• You will operate in various states and counties each day; for instance, one day may involve working in a title plant in California, while the next could require access to a county recorder website in Kentucky.

• Follow up on all orders requiring corrections and conduct additional reviews before finalizing orders.

• Engage in searching commercial titles five days a week for eight hours each day.

• You must possess the capability to accurately plot legal descriptions for completeness.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial title searches.

• Familiarity with the terminology and documents associated with title searches, title chains, and property ownership.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently while adhering to established quality standards.

• Capacity to multitask and review multiple orders concurrently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, and other Office applications.

• Knowledge of and experience with platting software, such as NetDeedPlotter and Metes & Bounds, is preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to collaborate effectively and function as part of a team.

• Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
