Experienced Business Analyst – Requirement Validation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the integrated requirements and design validation process.

• Establish methodologies, sequencing, roles, and quality expectations for validation activities.

• Define, review, and uphold clear, measurable, and testable acceptance criteria.

• Coordinate the analysis of requirements and the design of solutions as overlapping collaborative efforts.

• Utilize design documents, process models, interface specifications, demonstrations, decision records, and solution artifacts to validate functional requirements.

• Facilitate the bulk validation of non-functional and technical requirements while identifying exceptions that necessitate requirement-level review.

• Define validation packages and approval strategies that encompass scope, approvers, evidence, assumptions, dependencies, and exception handling.

• Maintain traceability from business objectives and source requirements through acceptance criteria, design decisions, deliverables, test coverage, and implementation outcomes.

• Apply risk-based judgment to determine suitable validation methods and escalation needs.

• Prepare client-ready requirements and design artifacts for review.

• Plan and facilitate validation sessions, design reviews, demonstrations, and discussions with stakeholders.

• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders across business, product, design, development, testing, and client teams.

• Govern decisions, action items, validation status, approval evidence, exceptions, and modifications.

• Conduct quality reviews to identify gaps, conflicts, ambiguities, and downstream impacts.

• Escalate risks and issues while implementing mitigation strategies.

• Develop and manage the integrated requirements and design validation schedule.

• Mentor business analysts and cross-functional contributors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in business analysis.

• Strong emphasis on requirements and design analysis, acceptance criteria, stakeholder engagement, validation, and solution delivery.

• Capability to lead integrated requirements and design practices.

• Experience in managing complex functional, non-functional, technical, interface, and compliance requirements for large-scale implementation projects.

• Proficiency in developing measurable acceptance criteria.

• Experience utilizing design documents, demonstrations, and approved deliverables as validation evidence.

• Familiarity with establishing traceability, approval methods, change control, and risk-based validation strategies throughout the delivery life cycle.

• Background in healthcare, Medicaid, CMS, or MITA frameworks is preferred.

• Video cameras are required during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.
