This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee comprehensive bookkeeping tasks for Australian clients utilizing Xero.
• Execute daily functions within the Xero cloud accounting platform.
• Dispatch client expense invoices to ReceiptBank/Hubdoc for electronic processing.
• Process invoices from ReceiptBank/Hubdoc into Xero.
• Prepare expense pay runs, including generating the bank ABA file.
• Manage unreconciled bank transactions within the general ledger.
• Generate client sales invoices as directed.
• Prepare and process payroll, including maintaining employee records.
• Handle the preparation and processing of employer superannuation obligations.
• Create manual journals in Xero.
• Process payroll data electronically to the ATO in compliance with Single Touch Payroll requirements.
• Manage client debtors through automatic reminders and statements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including providing month-end journals.
• Generate financial reports using Xero.
• Conduct processing with third-party integrated applications.
• Fulfill any additional data entry tasks as requested.
• Proficient in intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with (or at least familiarity with) cloud-based accounting Add On tools such as Dext, Deputy.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Required experience in Australian accounting.
• Work-from-home opportunity based in the Philippines.
• Full-time hours of 40 per week, 8 hours per day from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM South Australian Time, inclusive of a 1-hour break.
