This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.
• Assist in the daily operations and administrative tasks of the office.
• Oversee email inboxes, manage correspondence, prioritize tasks, and compose responses as instructed.
• Organize calendars, arrange meetings, appointments, reminders, and recurring responsibilities.
• Maintain the organization and accessibility of digital documents, files, and business information.
• Provide support for both business-related and personal administrative duties as required.
• Anticipate needs proactively by preparing meeting links, documents, reminders, and follow-up tasks.
• Offer bookkeeping assistance utilizing QuickBooks Online.
• Manage, organize, and respond to guest inquiries through platforms such as Airbnb, Vrbo, Hostaway, and others when permitted.
• Oversee and structure email communication, prioritizing urgent matters for timely responses.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• 2–3+ years of experience in supporting executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, real estate professionals, or leaders in professional services.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Communications, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Background as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, Operations Assistant, Bookkeeping Assistant, or in a similar capacity.
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge, including experience with QuickBooks Online, receipt management, expense categorization, and financial record maintenance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general technological skills, with the capability to quickly learn new software.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, maintaining a clear and professional tone.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, demonstrating strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Capable of working independently following training, taking initiative, and proactively resolving issues.
• Professional, reliable, trustworthy, discreet, and service-oriented.
• Strong sense of ownership, treating the client’s business with care and diligence.
