Experienced Application Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Grasp business requirements at an intricate level and convert them into technical specifications and data models.

• Assist business analysts by providing insights into how system data and integrations fulfill operational and policy requirements.

• Utilize knowledge of healthcare and pharmacy to confirm the logic, dependencies, and downstream effects of technical decisions.

• Employ advanced SQL skills to extract, analyze, and validate data to aid in solution development, testing, and quality assurance.

• Review and document data flows, integration logic, and technical dependencies.

• Act as a communication bridge between business users, developers, QA, and configuration teams.

• Clearly and concisely document and relay technical decisions, risks, and impacts.

• Create comprehensive technical solution models and propose scalable strategies.

• Guide junior technical analysts on data standards, SQL best practices, and documentation requirements.

• Offer analytical support during defect resolution, system configuration validation, and pre-deployment quality assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a technical analyst, data analyst, or healthcare systems analyst role.

• Advanced SQL proficiency, including experience with joins, data transformations, and manipulation of large datasets.

• Strong comprehension of healthcare systems and Medicaid concepts.

• Familiarity with Data Element Dictionaries (DEDs) and interface specifications.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.

• Experience in SDLC and Agile environments is preferred.

• Knowledge of system implementation in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) is advantageous.
