This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Drive sales, cultivate business opportunities, and meet customer needs within a designated long-term care territory.
• Establish and sustain relationships with physicians, physician-extenders, pharmacists, and nursing facility leadership and staff.
• Advocate for Acadia products by providing compliant clinical, disease state, and reimbursement education.
• Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and objections employing advanced selling techniques.
• Enhance customer, practice, and market knowledge for effective business planning.
• Formulate and implement quarterly territory business/action plans utilizing data and budgetary insights.
• Offer advice on pricing, reimbursement, and LTC profitability; coordinate with Acadia on access-related queries.
• Collaborate with sales management, territory team members, and cross-functional partners.
• Represent Acadia at conferences, exhibitions, product launches, and training events.
• Mentor and guide new or junior Sales Specialists.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and LTC regulations.
• Shape territory strategies, influence regional initiatives, and serve as a reliable internal and external partner.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in life sciences is preferred.
• A minimum of 12 years of healthcare sales experience is necessary for the Executive level.
• At least 3 years of experience in complex or account-based selling environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of neuroscience, LTC market dynamics, Part A and Part D payer systems, specialty distribution, and relevant LTC regulations.
• Advanced skills in selling and negotiation.
• Ability to influence a diverse range of healthcare professional audiences.
• Demonstrated regional leadership, mentorship, and role-modeling capabilities.
• Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and self-motivation.
• Must reside within the territory or within 30 miles of its borders.
• Must be reasonably close to a major airport if travel is required.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Capability to operate a company vehicle daily and travel independently by air.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays and occasional after-hours work.
• Must comply with vaccination and facility access requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and virtual engagement platforms such as Zoom and WebEx.
• Ability to perform regular standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching tasks.
• Capacity to lift or move up to 20 pounds occasionally.
