This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Design and implement strategies for the US Medical CV pipeline and cardiovascular prevention.

• Ensure the execution of developmental activities across all compounds associated with the relevant disease areas.

• Promote effective team dynamics, performance, prioritization, and communication within a multidisciplinary team.

• Serve as the primary liaison with the US Medical Affairs Leadership team and global teams.

• Build and sustain effective working relationships with counterparts in cross-functional and Global Line Functions.

• Responsible for developing and establishing strategic plan activities and timelines for the US Medical Affairs CV pipeline.

• Collaborate with external experts in the disease areas to gather insights.

• Proactively identify challenges and potential obstacles.

• Oversee the analysis of current and future disease projections.

• Lead the creation of strategy documents, risk logs, and phase transition tollgates.

• MD, PhD, PharmD, Master's or Doctoral degree in life sciences/chemistry, or a Bachelor of Science coupled with an MBA is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of industry experience.

• At least 5 years or equivalent experience in multi-/cross-functional leadership is preferred.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the Cardiovascular therapeutic area is required.

• Demonstrated success in large-scale, complex multidisciplinary drug development teams.

• In-depth knowledge of drug development processes, including early- and late-stage development.
