Executive Director, Medical Affairs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Engage with and identify appropriate Key Opinion Leaders through professional networks or feasibility evaluations.

• Deliver scientific and medical support along with guidance to operational teams throughout Premier Research projects.

• Provide medical monitoring and/or drug safety assistance when necessary and requested.

• Evaluate medical/scientific data for various Premier departments, including CTM and Biometrics.

• Conduct general and therapeutic training, which encompasses the creation of training materials.

• Contribute expert insights on RFP/RFI initiatives, covering therapeutic overviews, executive summaries, patient recruitment strategies, protocol considerations, and study execution plans.

• Participate in client meetings for specific proposals or general capabilities presentations.

• Utilize strategic client partnerships to enhance relationships and services provided by Premier Research.

• Elevate Premier Research’s reputation within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors by participating in scientific/industry meetings, panel discussions, and contributing to peer-reviewed scientific and industry publications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical degree.

• Board certification (or equivalent) in Internal Medicine / Obstetrics / Gynaecology.

• Clinical / Clinical Research experience is advantageous.

• Experience in academia related to Women’s Health (Obstetrics / Gynaecology) may be considered.

• Previous or current experience in a CRO is beneficial.

• Extensive (15 years or more) experience in drug development within Women’s Health (Obstetrics / Gynaecology).

• Strong business acumen in the CRO and drug development sectors.

• Candidates with solely academic experience should illustrate a willingness to engage with clients and foster positive client relationships.
