This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Formulate and implement a detailed market access strategy that encompasses pricing, reimbursement, and payer engagement, aimed at supporting the launch and ongoing management of allogeneic CAR T therapies.
• Oversee the collaborative development of payer value propositions, access strategies, and evidence plans that align with clinical and commercial goals.
• Establish and sustain relationships with national and regional payers, including commercial insurers, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and employer groups, to ensure favorable coverage and reimbursement outcomes.
• Lead the negotiation processes for coverage policies, reimbursement terms, single case agreements, and contract strategies specifically tailored to cell therapy delivery.
• Create and execute access strategies that respond to CAR T–specific site-of-care requirements, covering academic centers, community oncology practices, and emerging outpatient delivery models.
• Monitor and impact payer and government policies, including developments from CMS and state Medicaid, to mitigate access barriers and enhance patient access.
• Develop and apply innovative payment models and contracting strategies to support high-cost, one-time therapies.
• Build and manage a field reimbursement organization to assist providers in navigating the complexities of CAR T access pathways.
• Design and implement patient support services to promote access, including benefits verification, reimbursement assistance, and care coordination.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to devise distribution and channel strategies that align with cell therapy logistics and treatment center capabilities.
• Monitor payer coverage, reimbursement trends, COE network requirements, and competitive dynamics to guide strategy development.
• Provide strategic contributions to business development and financial planning concerning pricing, access, and reimbursement.
• Ensure all market access initiatives adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Pharm.D. degree in Life Sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 15 years of experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement, or related positions within the biotech or pharmaceutical sectors, including leadership roles.
• Proven experience in developing and executing market access strategies for oncology or specialty therapies, with direct experience in CAR T or cell therapy being highly preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of CAR T reimbursement dynamics, including single case agreements, site-of-care considerations, and COE network requirements.
• Experience working in both academic medical centers and community oncology environments.
• Strong grasp of innovative payment models and access considerations for high-cost, one-time therapies.
• Knowledge of oncology clinical data and health economics to support value-based discussions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth biotech setting.
• Strong financial management skills and business acumen.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to prioritize effectively to achieve results within established timelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including both verbal and written communication, are essential in this collaborative work environment.
