This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, lead, and manage the implementation of the gynecologic Global Medical Affairs Plan, as well as future strategies for other solid tumors based on advancements in pipeline data.
• Create and execute a data generation strategy beyond the clinical development program, encompassing investigator-initiated studies and real-world evidence initiatives.
• Represent Medical Affairs during early and clinical development team meetings, focusing on providing regional and global medical insights to the clinical development plan, trial design, and facilitating the successful execution of the clinical program.
• Influence and aid the formulation of disease and product-specific Clinical Development strategies within thoracic cancers.
• Collaborate with the scientific communications team to establish a successful publication strategy for the Disease Area, including the review and approval of relevant abstracts and manuscripts.
• Lead and collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development on advisory meetings related to the disease area.
• Analyze and present clinical trial data to both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
• Work with the Health Economics and Outcomes Research Team to provide technical and clinical expertise on pertinent evidence generation studies in the disease area.
• Educate BeOne colleagues, CRO personnel, and study site staff on the therapeutic area, molecule, and/or clinical protocols.
• Contribute to or conduct research and competitor analysis within the therapeutic area/indication.
• Organize and execute relevant Advisory Boards.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and institutions on a global scale.
• Establish strong partnerships and connections with internal experts.
• Serve as the GMA representative in Alliance partnerships when appropriate.
• Develop, monitor, execute, and report on goals and objectives.
• Assist in budget planning and management.
• Ensure accountability for compliant business practices.
• An advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) with subspecialty training in oncology.
• Significant experience in the pharma/biotech sector focusing on solid tumors is essential.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in another biotech or pharmaceutical company.
• Clinical experience in solid tumor oncology is required for this position.
• Previous roles in Clinical Development as a medical director or clinical scientist are highly preferred.
• In-depth understanding of global clinical study design and the drug development process from discovery through registration and post-marketing phases.
• Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with GCP and ICH Guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a global environment.
• Willingness to engage in work-related travel, approximately 25% of the time.
• Preferred qualifications include being a strategic leader with proven success in building, managing, and developing individuals and teams.
• Experience in developing and supporting related SOPs and policies is expected.
• Familiarity with industry-standard Clinical Development IT solutions is required.
