This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Create and implement strategic and operational plans in close collaboration with the Board of Directors.
• Lead, motivate, and coordinate daily activities for the Foundation's network of volunteers.
• Ensure complete legal, ethical, and regulatory adherence for all nonprofit activities.
• Assist the founders and board members in their roles as the organization's public representatives.
• Increase the organization's visibility by producing engaging multimedia content.
• Strengthen relationships with existing and potential partners, donors, and stakeholders.
• Provide high-level guidance for peer support groups, research projects, and specialized committees.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual fundraising plan.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 3 to 5 years of senior-level experience in nonprofit management.
• A strong and demonstrable passion for the mission of the Munchausen Support Foundation.
• Outstanding emotional intelligence with the capacity to handle critical, emotionally charged discussions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build trust with survivors, family members, peer facilitators, and medical professionals.
• Record of success in donor cultivation and securing contributions.
• Strong capability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements.
• Experience serving on or reporting to a nonprofit board of directors.
• Sensitivity to and experience working with vulnerable populations.
