Executive Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of various markets within a specified Region

• Cultivate a robust team and a performance-driven culture within the Region

• Implement essential value levers that promote growth and success across HarmonyCares

• Direct strategy, growth, and operational management of one or more Regions

• Collaborate with market leadership teams and health plan partners on financial, operational, and quality metrics

• Work collaboratively across Finance, Business Development, Operations, Care Management, Product, Actuary, Medical Management, Implementation, Talent, and Executive teams

• Track market and line-of-business performance while applying best practices to enhance performance annually

• Manage a multi-million-dollar P&L surpassing $25M in revenue, ensuring that value levers yield positive patient and financial results

• Ensure clinical teams prioritize patient needs and that staffing aligns with business requirements while clinicians operate at the top of their license

• Mentor management teams, advocate for their needs, and hold them accountable for key performance indicators

• Standardize operations and lead or contribute to special projects that facilitate organizational transformation

• Develop and maintain relationships with local health plan leadership, including sales and marketing, to bolster care coordination and membership growth

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree

• 10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations

• Extensive P&L experience with a proven track record of operating within budget and understanding key performance indicators

• Executive presence and a collaborative mindset when engaging with internal and external stakeholders, boards, health plan members, and employees

• Solution-oriented mindset and readiness to engage in various tasks in a fast-paced start-up environment

• Ability to communicate and connect with all levels of clinical and non-clinical staff

• Willingness to travel up to 50%

• Preferred: Experience with value-based risk contracts under capitated arrangements

• Preferred: Familiarity with Medicare Advantage health plan offerings and populations of patients with chronic conditions, with the capability to execute top-tier payer/provider solutions
