This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and produce blog posts, bylines, videos, and long-form content that enhance our executives' personal viewpoints and standing within the security and open-source sectors.
• Collaborate with Chainguard clients to craft content that highlights their industry leadership and showcases how they utilize Chainguard.
• Oversee and compose social media content for our executive team, transforming ideas, moments, and company announcements into posts that authentically reflect each individual’s voice.
• Develop narratives, talking points, and preparation materials to ensure executives present a cohesive story during external engagements, such as podcasts, events, and webinars.
• Convert technical and strategic subjects into engaging stories that resonate with developer, security, and business audiences.
• Partner with Marketing, PR, and Events teams to ensure that executive storytelling aligns with the broader company narratives, product launches, and campaigns.
• Manage the external content calendar for each executive you support, overseeing the entire process from start to finish.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in executive communications, public relations, content/brand storytelling, journalism, or a similar writing-focused position. In-house experience is advantageous.
• Ability to handle content across various executives, channels, and deadlines, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
• A natural storyteller: you can identify the narrative in a news piece, customer interaction, or an executive's casual remark, and transform it into engaging content.
• Exceptional writing and messaging abilities, with a talent for conveying intricate information in a clear and engaging way.
• Confidence in interacting with senior executives, including knowing when to challenge or encourage them to maintain momentum.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional and highly collaborative positions.
• Bonus: experience in highly technical or developer-oriented organizations is a plus.
