This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee and sustain workflows within monday.com
• Initiate and modify projects based on received emails (e.g., purchase orders)
• Delegate and monitor action items
• Tag and relay updates to the founder
• Ensure all tasks are structured, current, and completed
• Provide weekly updates and reports on projects
• Monitor the inbox and respond on the founder's behalf
• Manage scheduling and confirmations for the calendar
• Address website/customer inquiries through Shopify inbox/chat
• Follow up with clients, particularly for wholesale orders that require reminders
• Assist in tracking expenses using Google Sheets
• Aid in preparing financial data for the accountant (only light bookkeeping)
• Maintain organized systems across both businesses
• Offer support across both businesses as required and enhance workflows
• Familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com preferred)
• Strong administrative and organizational capabilities
• Excellent written English (client-facing role)
• Experience in customer service
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
• Experience with light bookkeeping and expense tracking
• Background in ecommerce (Shopify)
• Experience in supporting founders or small businesses
