This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee the MD's calendar, organizing schedules and daily priorities to ensure effective allocation of time and attention.
• Monitor commitments, decisions, and action items to guarantee consistent follow-up.
• Create agendas, briefing documents, and meeting notes with clear tracking of actions.
• Manage correspondence and communications with stakeholders on behalf of the MD, maintaining discretion and professionalism.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings for the MD, including preparation, facilitation, and follow-up after meetings.
• Organize research initiatives and team projects, ensuring clarity of objectives, progress tracking, and timely completion.
• Delegate and oversee tasks among internal teams on behalf of the MD, ensuring accountability and follow-through.
• Collaborate with and supervise relevant team members to keep cross-functional workstreams aligned and progressing.
• Work with internal teams and external stakeholders across various time zones to support the MD's engagements and responsibilities.
• Maintain confidential records, contracts, and documentation within shared systems.
• Anticipate needs and proactively address issues before they escalate.
• Extensive experience providing support at the MD or C-suite level, preferably in professional services, consulting, or executive search.
• Proven ability to manage complex, highly variable schedules and competing priorities.
• Experience in coordinating teams, projects, and research workstreams in a senior support role.
• Confident in chairing or facilitating meetings and driving outcomes effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that meet professional service standards.
• Highly organized with dependable follow-through and keen attention to detail.
• Sound independent judgment in prioritization and escalation of issues.
• Complete discretion in handling confidential information.
• Comfortable working across international time zones with flexibility in scheduling as needed.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Proficient in business productivity tools and adaptable to new systems swiftly.
