This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee the MD's calendar, priorities, and daily schedule to ensure optimal use of time and focus.
• Monitor commitments, decisions, and action items to guarantee consistent follow-up.
• Create agendas, briefing materials, and meeting notes with clear tracking of actions.
• Manage communication and correspondence on behalf of the MD with professionalism and discretion.
• Organize, coordinate, and conduct meetings for the MD, including preparation, facilitation, and post-meeting follow-up.
• Oversee research initiatives and team projects, ensuring clear briefs, progress monitoring, and timely completion.
• Delegate and manage tasks across internal teams on behalf of the MD, ensuring accountability and follow-through.
• Collaborate with and supervise relevant team members to keep cross-functional workstreams aligned and progressing.
• Work with internal teams and external stakeholders across various time zones to support the MD's commitments and responsibilities.
• Maintain confidential records, contracts, and documentation within shared systems.
• Anticipate needs and proactively address issues before they escalate.
• Significant experience providing support at the MD or C-suite level, preferably in professional services, consulting, or executive search.
• Proven capability in managing complex and dynamic schedules with competing priorities.
• Experience in coordinating teams, projects, and research initiatives in a senior support role.
• Confident in chairing or facilitating meetings and achieving desired outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that meet professional services standards.
• Highly organized with dependable follow-through and a keen eye for detail.
• Sound independent judgment for prioritizing and escalating issues as necessary.
• Complete discretion when handling confidential information.
• Comfortable working across international time zones with flexibility in scheduling as needed.
• Self-motivated and effective in remote working environments.
• Proficient in business productivity tools and quick to adapt to new systems.
