This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Identify and acquire merchandise for various events and e-commerce projects.
• Oversee both domestic and international suppliers (U.S., Mexico, China), focusing on timelines, negotiations, and relationship development.
• Assess vendor practices to ensure they align with sustainability objectives and ethical production standards.
• Keep track of receipts, maintain precise records, and manage invoice coding along with payment schedules.
• Perform cost analyses and suggest strategies for cost reduction and sourcing efficiencies.
• Stay informed about international tariffs and import/export regulations relevant to event locations (e.g., U.S., Mexico, China) to facilitate effective and economical purchasing decisions.
• Investigate materials, production timelines, and shipping logistics to make decisions driven by sustainability.
• Make sourcing choices based on location to reduce carbon emissions (e.g., sourcing nearer to event sites).
• Keep updated on sustainability trends in apparel, packaging, and logistics to encourage future enhancements.
• Create and manage product listings, collections, and inventory tracking on Shopify.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate product launches and fulfillment logistics.
• Monitor online inventory and suggest reorders or restocks as necessary.
• Work closely with our graphic design team to ensure alignment on product specifications, printing constraints, and production schedules.
• Offer guidance on garment selection, decoration techniques, and production capabilities.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge across various categories (apparel, accessories, packaging, etc.).
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in merchandise procurement, production, or purchasing.
• Strong communication and vendor management skills.
• A genuine passion for sustainability and a commitment to shaping our responsible sourcing strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines concurrently.
• Proficient in using Shopify, Airtable, and Google Suite.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently in a remote setting.
• A creative, problem-solving attitude and a commitment to enhancing processes and profitability.
