This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Manage a diverse range of pension plan settlement projects.
• Act as the execution project leader for 3–5 micro to mid-sized settlement implementations.
• Oversee the comprehensive management of pension settlement projects, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
• Ensure project implementations comply with ERISA, IRS, and PBGC regulations.
• Create detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports for both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with local teams, legal counsel, recordkeepers, and client representatives.
• Identify project risks and work with RRM resources on strategies for mitigation.
• Monitor data accuracy and manage participant communications.
• Organize client meetings and prepare presentation materials.
• Provide updates regarding project status and forthcoming steps.
• Maintain vendor relationships throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pension field.
• Previous knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and PBGC requirements relevant to defined benefit plan terminations and settlements is advantageous but not compulsory.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, such as actuaries, legal teams, plan sponsors, and insurers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and project complexities.
• Comfortable working in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.
