This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• This is a full-time role primarily focused on managing a variety of settlement projects.
• Act as the execution project lead for 2-4 mid- to large-sized settlement implementations.
• Direct the comprehensive management of pension settlement projects, which includes planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
• Ensure project implementations comply with ERISA, IRS, and PBGC regulations.
• Create detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports for both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with local teams, legal advisors, recordkeepers, and client representatives to facilitate smooth execution.
• Identify project risks and formulate mitigation strategies to avoid delays or compliance issues.
• Monitor data accuracy and participant communications, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Organize client meetings, prepare presentation materials, and provide clear updates regarding project status and next steps.
• Manage vendor relationships throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Contribute to the development of best practices, process enhancements, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the pension field.
• Previous knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and PBGC requirements related to defined benefit plan terminations and settlements is preferred.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including actuaries, legal teams, plan sponsors, and insurers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in writing and verbally.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and project complexities.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
