• Oversee the Operating System: Take charge of the company's daily operating rhythm, encompassing planning, reviews, metrics, and follow-through, ensuring the business continues to progress without needing prompts.
• Step in for the COO during their absence, maintaining decision-making and momentum throughout the organization to prevent any delays.
• Act as the linking element among departments, ensuring that commitments made in one area are fulfilled across all relevant areas.
• Drive Execution Through Leaders: Hold department heads accountable for their commitments, seek clarity, identify obstacles directly, and foster the constructive tension that facilitates decision-making.
• Transform vaguely defined issues into organized plans with designated owners and timelines.
• Enhance leverage through the leadership team rather than performing the tasks yourself, amplifying the productivity of those around you.
• Systems, Leverage, and Judgment: Develop and refine the systems, workflows, and automation that the company relies on, utilizing AI as a key tool.
• Provide decision-ready analysis and clear answers to the COO and executive team, identifying blockers and framing options effectively.
• Determine what is crucial amidst urgency and keep the organization focused on the few priorities that genuinely drive the business forward.
• A proven senior operator — whether as a Director or Senior Director of Operations or Business Operations, Chief of Staff, or Deputy COO — possessing real decision-making authority and a history of owning outcomes instead of merely coordinating others' work.
• Demonstrated experience in scaling operations within a fast-paced, growing environment, establishing structure where little existed.
• A self-starter who quickly adapts, asks insightful questions, discovers their own solutions, and begins delivering results without needing extensive training or guidance.
• Thrives in uncertain situations, invigorated by vaguely defined challenges, and comfortable navigating complex business scenarios before they are fully clarified.
• Holds individuals accountable and pushes senior leaders to create the necessary friction for clarity and decision-making.
• A direct, organized, and decision-ready communicator who identifies obstacles and removes unnecessary details.
• Genuinely systems-oriented, with active, practical expertise in AI and automation as operational leverage.
• Strong experience with sufficient depth for sound judgment and enough potential to grow significantly into this role.
• Preferred: Experience in scaling operations within a high-growth, multi-entity, or PE-backed environment where you established the framework without an existing playbook.
• Exposure to Healthcare SaaS, RPM, CCM, or regulated operations — open to learning and not a strict filter.
• Background as Chief of Staff or VP of Operations with actual decision-making authority rather than just coordination.
• Competitive base pay: $195,000 – $225,000 annually.
• Additional Compensation: Performance-Based Bonus: Eligible for an annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
• Benefits Include: Unlimited PTO
• Medical, Dental, Vision, and supplemental insurance options
• 401(k) Plan with 3.5% Company Match
