EVM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, design, and implement both existing and new EVM products.

• Assist in the development of Solidity for Magic Eden’s NFT marketplace.

• Contribute to blockchain indexing systems with an emphasis on high performance and throughput.

• Collaborate closely with the company’s founders, designers, engineers, and security auditors to ensure that systems are of high quality and are delivered to the market promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience, including at least 2 years specifically with Ethereum and EVM-based blockchains, as well as smart contract development using Solidity, Foundry, Web3.js / Ethers.js frameworks.

• Proficient with Ethereum Development Suites such as Foundry, Truffle, Ganache, Hardhat, and Tenderly.

• Skilled in writing secure, efficient, and gas-optimized smart contracts for decentralized applications (DApps) on the Ethereum blockchain and other EVM-compatible networks.

• Experienced with a variety of technologies, self-motivated, a quick learner, and possessing a 'get things done' attitude.

• Knowledgeable about open-source contribution practices and has a proven history of contributing to open-source Solidity projects.

• Open-minded and humble, willing to embrace better ideas from others, eager to enhance processes, and receptive to challenges and new opportunities.
