
Events Marketing Manager β New Verticals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Take ownership of the comprehensive events calendar for our New Verticals business: implement 2-3 major industry events and assist with 3-5 smaller sales team events per vertical annually β overseeing sponsorship negotiations, securing speaking opportunities, supporting sales enablement, executing on-site logistics, and conducting post-event follow-ups.
β’ Empower the New Verticals sales team to optimize their participation in 3-5 smaller industry events per vertical each year β create pre-event briefings, target account lists, and talking points to ensure every representative is well-prepared; organize and carry out 10β12 person executive dinners linked to significant events to strengthen partner relationships.
β’ Develop and implement our events playbook for New Verticals, including run-of-show templates, budget tracking, attendee management, and measurement frameworks to ensure robust execution becomes repeatable and scalable.
β’ Identify target audience segments for each event format, pinpointing the appropriate decision-makers at each prospect, establishing attendance criteria, and utilizing post-event data to continually refine targeting.
β’ Collaborate with the revenue team to establish target account lists for events and guarantee follow-through from the revenue team after events.
β’ Manage the events budget meticulously, tracking actuals against forecasts, highlighting trade-offs, and optimizing for impact per dollar concerning pipeline generation.
β’ Assess event effectiveness β attendance, pipeline generated, partner satisfaction β and communicate results to stakeholders across functions.
β’ Analyze third-party event sponsorships and partner-hosted events as co-marketing opportunities for Flex.
β’ Work with the broader Partner Marketing team on integrated pre/post-event programs and co-marketing initiatives.
β’ 3-5 years of experience in B2B event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation, with a background in creating both brand presence at large industry conferences and innovative marketing activations to drive pipeline, as well as hosting intimate executive events.
β’ Proficient in budget management β comfortable managing a P&L for events and making informed trade-offs.
β’ Proven experience linking event investment to pipeline and revenue results. You can substantiate the question βwas it worth it?β for any stakeholder with data.
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot for tracking campaigns, managing attendee lists, and executing post-event follow-up sequences and workflows.
β’ A builder's mindset. You have established events programs at early-stage companies or within new functions and can operate without a fully developed playbook.
β’ A successful history of managing high-touch executive events from start to finish: venue selection, speaker coordination, agenda setting, logistics, and measurement.
