This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the yearly trade show and conference schedule, including the selection of events and justification.
• Suggest pertinent shows directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
• Oversee passes, deadlines, sponsorship agreements, booth allocations, and speaking opportunities.
• Develop the event calendar for 2027.
• Manage attendee confirmations while ensuring deadlines remain visible.
• Coordinate and oversee the creation of collateral, one-pagers, and sales materials in collaboration with the Design team.
• Collaborate with Judy on promotional items, samples, shipping, and event supplies.
• Participate in approximately five shows annually, including exhibitions, dinners, or executive meetings.
• Manage on-site event logistics and address any issues that arise for the team.
• Monitor and manage the event budget, bringing attention to any overruns.
• Handle month-end reconciliation with the Finance department.
• Assist in the implementation and management of a modern travel and expense platform.
• Create targeted partner engagement activities such as dinners and golf outings.
• Develop a scalable and repeatable event program that generates booked meetings and solidifies partnerships.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the CRO.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing events, trade shows, or field programs that support sales, partnerships, or business development teams.
• Proven experience overseeing a conference or trade show from start to finish.
• Background in vendor negotiations, booth or sponsorship contracts, and responsible event budgeting.
• Strong follow-through skills and the ability to proactively seek answers.
• Comfortable working remotely within a fast-paced, distributed team.
• Excellent written communication abilities.
• Curiosity about AI tools and their application in work processes.
• Preferred: experience in performance marketing, affiliate programs, adtech, fintech, or digital media.
• Preferred: familiarity with Ramp, Brex, Navan, TripActions, Cvent, or Concur.
• Preferred: experience in selecting or implementing travel, expense, or event management platforms.
• Preferred: existing connections with relevant conference organizers.
