Events Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement event strategies that align with business goals while enhancing attendance and engagement.

• Organize conferences, webinars, and strategic breakfasts/dinners/lunches with key customers or prospective clients.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the flawless execution of events, including venue selection, vendor management, and logistical arrangements, overseeing the entire planning process.

• Create engaging event messaging and content that resonates with target audiences, driving interest and attendance.

• Oversee event budgets and timelines, ensuring all deliverables are achieved punctually and within budget constraints.

• Evaluate event performance metrics and offer recommendations for future enhancements and optimizations.

• Follow up with event participants in collaboration with the sales and growth teams.

• Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and vendors.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into event marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in events, with at least three years specifically in event or marketing planning within a fast-paced tech environment.

• Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product development, and communications to execute successful events.

• Strong budget and time management skills, capable of working within tight deadlines.

• Agile with a keen attention to detail.

• Confident in expressing ideas and viewpoints thoughtfully and passionately.

• Transparent and willing to challenge the status quo, ask questions, and identify obstacles.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French, German, or Spanish is a plus.
