This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Take charge of Customer.io's events calendar for North America, including field events, hosted dinners, sponsored conferences, and virtual sessions.
• Collaborate with the Events Manager and marketing team to establish objectives, target audiences, event formats, and success metrics.
• Assess sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and new initiatives that align with our demand and pipeline objectives.
• Manage daily logistics, including vendor coordination, timelines, run-of-show, speaker preparation, and on-site support.
• Oversee registration processes, pre-event communications, and ensure a seamless attendee experience from initial contact to follow-up.
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Brand, and Content teams to ensure that each event is well-defined, on-message, and equipped with the necessary assets.
• Spearhead the planning and execution of customer-centric events such as hosted dinners, Suite Series experiences, and curated roundtables for our most strategic clients.
• Partner with Customer Success and Account Management to identify and invite suitable customers, create post-event follow-up workflows, and gather feedback to strengthen relationships and support pipeline expansion.
• Discover opportunities to enhance the customer event program and boost its effectiveness in retention and advocacy.
• Monitor event metrics such as registrations, attendance, engagement, and pipeline impact.
• Provide insights and recommendations aimed at improving ROI and the overall attendee experience.
• Maintain documentation, templates, and scalable workflows to streamline event execution.
• Must be located in North America.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in event marketing, demand generation, or integrated marketing within the B2B SaaS sector.
• Proven track record of managing a variety of virtual events, webinars, and in-person activations.
• Excellent project management skills, capable of managing timelines, tasks, and teams effectively.
