This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive planning and execution of live events.
• Supervise the creative development of event concepts, communications, registration, set-up, technology, and logistics.
• Collaborate across various functions with both internal and external partners.
• Conduct site visits and present relevant information to internal stakeholders.
• Manage timelines for event deliverables across marketing, content, and sales teams.
• Assist in developing concepts and solutions for customized event proposals.
• Source vendors, negotiate terms, and oversee event production contractors.
• Negotiate costs related to show production, features, and staffing.
• Manage insurance requirements effectively.
• Supervise conference producers, deadlines, and delivery milestones.
• Handle sponsor communications and ensure deliverables are met.
• Manage, forecast, maintain, and reconcile event budgets efficiently.
• Liaise with sponsors to fulfill operational contractual obligations.
• Produce post-event reports featuring recommendations and developments.
• Oversee the distribution of Show Daily at major trade shows.
• At least 3 years of experience as an event producer or event manager, preferably within a conference or tradeshow setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in the end-to-end planning and execution of live events, including high-profile and complex productions.
• Experience in selecting and negotiating vendor contracts and managing supplier relationships, encompassing venues, catering, and AV services.
• Proficient in budget management, forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation.
• Commercial awareness regarding event revenue targets, sponsorship, and budget management.
• Ability to lead and manage event project teams, overseeing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Excellent project management capabilities, including prioritization, timeline management, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with sponsors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to unexpected challenges.
