EV Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Commission new EV charging stations, which involves installation validation, system configuration, and setting up network connectivity.

• Carry out diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on EVCS hardware and software systems.

• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system uptime and performance.

• Install and sustain station branding components, including signage, wraps, and decals.

• Address service calls and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

• Accurately document all service activities, maintenance logs, and repair actions.

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to troubleshoot technical issues.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.

• Travel frequently throughout Washington to support field operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required; a technical certification or associate degree in electrical, electronics, or a related field is preferred.

• More than 2 years of experience in electrical systems, field service, or EV charging infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, both low/high voltage, and troubleshooting methods.

• Familiarity with networking, software diagnostics, and IoT-connected devices is advantageous.

• Capability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
