ETL Developer – Scala

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• We are seeking an ETL Developer with extensive experience in Scala to join our team dedicated to constructing and enhancing data pipelines.

• The candidate will be instrumental in developing scalable solutions, ensuring the efficiency of processing and integrating substantial amounts of data.

• Responsible for creating and maintaining ETL routines, engaging in data modeling and transformation, and collaborating with the team to advance the data architecture.

• Expected to contribute to best practices in development, uphold code quality, and enhance the performance of deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust experience in Scala development (around 3 years)

• Proven experience in building and maintaining ETL processes

• Familiarity with Apache Spark

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics is a plus

• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases

• Soft skill: collaborative and team-oriented

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency
