
ETL Developer – Enterprise Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develops, analyzes, implements, configures, tests, debugs, and maintains data integration processes to meet project requirements, which includes data capture, testing, and validation methods.
• Acts as a technical resource throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provides support for application systems and business processes.
• Diagnoses and resolves technical issues to ensure platform uptime and application service levels are maintained for the project.
• Supports, maintains, and monitors the health of processes, as well as inbound and outbound feeds, to ensure data integrity.
• Writes high-quality processes using structured development techniques to support process components and development.
• Employs an agile-based approach to implement data services and solutions.
• Suggests enhancements to processes as supported by integration systems.
• Collaborates with quality assurance testing teams to identify errors and ensure that business specifications are met.
• Aids in the transition of processes from the test environment to the quality environment and then to the production environment (i.e., for data integration code and related solutions).
• Assists in the creation of end-user materials (i.e., Runbook).
• Gathers information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed application designs.
• Translates technical specifications into code using both proprietary and non-proprietary tools, with guidance from more experienced analysts.
• Upholds system and programming guidelines by following the software development lifecycle; develops and maintains artifacts of the integration architecture.
• Aids in defining and implementing processes, policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.
• Participates in the “on-call” rotation.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of three to five years of experience in developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise integration technologies for both On-Premises and Cloud solutions.
• 3-5 years of consulting experience is preferred.
• Experience in enterprise architecture, security, management, and monitoring is required.
• Data Integration experience is essential.
• Familiarity with Data Bricks, SSIS, BI visualization tools, and enterprise schedulers is desired.
