This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Delivering direct pricing and design assistance to both internal and external clients
• Utilizing knowledge of structures, materials, and construction methods to aid Field Sales and Estimators
• Creating calculations and engineering details through pricing software and additional design applications
• Offering in-depth consultation to Builders, Field Sales, and Estimators
• Recognizing exclusions and discrepancies while seeking clarification as needed
• Assessing customer-supplied information to identify cost-effective solutions
• Ensuring the application of up-to-date pricing data in the estimate preparation
• Cultivating and sustaining relationships with Builders/Vendors
• Conducting training sessions for the Builder Network and Field Sales
• Performing and/or reviewing complex estimates independently
• Continuously enhancing productivity, accuracy, and capability.
• Preferred: Level II Licensed Professional Engineer
• At least 4 years of experience in metal building design or a related field
• Advanced knowledge of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) encompassing both product offerings and design factors
• Capable of training and mentoring junior Sales Engineers and Estimators
• Responsible for providing preliminary designs for estimating Requests for Building Modifications (RBMs)
• Required: Level III Licensed Professional Engineer
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in metal building design or a related field
