Estate Banker, Bilingual – French & English, Certificat en Investissements

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborates with executors, liquidators, and branch personnel to facilitate estate-related settlements for deceased BMO clients.

• Offers support, guidance, and expertise to enhance the customer experience during challenging times.

• Investigates the banking needs of the estate and incorporates relevant marketing promotions and programs into customer discussions as suitable.

• Conducts needs assessments to identify and recommend financial solutions along with preferred banking channels.

• Manages calls and inquiries in a knowledgeable, professional, and efficient manner.

• Reaches out to the customer/executor/liquidator to gather essential information for the estate case; ensures the customer is kept informed about the status and outcomes.

• Remains informed about consumer needs, industry trends, best practices, and the regulatory landscape relevant to the products and services offered.

• Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

• May provide training and mentorship to junior associates as necessary.

• Executes work to provide timely, accurate, and efficient service.

• Completes all estate process-related tasks in accordance with legal and regulatory standards, as well as the Bank's policies and procedures.

• Collaborates with BMO partners and specialists to ensure a unified understanding of customer cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 - 3 years of pertinent experience.

• A post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• In-depth knowledge of estate and deceased matters.

• Understanding of risk and regulatory obligations.

• Working knowledge of systems and applications.

• Good understanding of workflow priorities and deadlines.

• Specialized knowledge.

• Competent verbal and written communication skills.
