ESL Instructor – Flextime Work

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Instruct adult learners preparing to move to Canada in English as a Second Language (ESL)

• Develop online educational materials and resources

• Evaluate and assess student progress

• Foster student engagement through dynamic and interactive lessons

• Modify teaching strategies to accommodate various learning preferences

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English at an idiomatic level

• Must hold Canadian citizenship

• Bachelor's degree from a Western or English-speaking university

• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct

• Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection (no Wi-Fi), a webcam, and a headset

• Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week during peak hours: Sunday-Thursday: 5 pm-8 pm ET, Monday-Friday: 5 am-11 am ET

• Must be punctual, dependable, and available to start immediately

• Willing to adjust schedules in accordance with Daylight Saving Time changes
